License
When you buy an artwork, you download files Le Stampe restored and prepared for printing. Here is exactly what you may do with them — and the few things you may not.
The short version
Your purchase gives you a personal-use license to the files. Print them, frame them, live with them. The license is yours; the files are not for resale or redistribution.
What you can do
- Print each file for your own personal use — at home or through any print lab.
- Print as many times as you like, at any size, in any of the frame ratios included.
- Frame the prints and hang them wherever you wish.
- Give a printed copy to someone as a gift.
- Keep the files and reprint them whenever you need to.
What you cannot do
- Resell, license, or redistribute the files themselves.
- Share, forward, post, or upload the files for others to download.
- Use them commercially — in products, branding, advertising, or anything for sale.
- Sell prints made from them, or offer printing of them as a service.
- Claim you created the artwork, or strip out the work that went into the files.
About the paintings
The underlying masterpieces are old, long out of copyright, and belong to everyone — that is the whole point. What we license to you is our work: the high-resolution restoration, the colour and tone, the print-ready preparation, the bordered and captioned versions, and the matched story print. Those prepared files are licensed to you for personal use, not placed in the public domain.
A note in good faith
We keep this simple on purpose, and we trust you. We are a small studio; honoring the personal-use terms is what lets us keep restoring the canon and keep prices low. Want to use a file beyond personal use, or just not sure if something is allowed? Email hello@lestampe.studio and we will give you a straight answer.
